Nikki Lynette returns with a brand new track, her second in as many weeks. Don't expect an upbeat, poppy release above like her last release, the "Crazie$ Remix" we premiered, but instead Nikki goes straight R&B for this somewhat down, yet compelling and relatable story about missing an ex-lover. This one's an easy-add to the R&B rotation in fact and I think that ladies and fellas alike can draw parallels. As a bonus, I can totally see "Sometimes" be the backing for a solo montage in a romantic comedy movie — you know, the part where the couple is alone and separate before some adventrous scheme brings em back together. It would be about two thirds of the way in. Let's make this happen!
Lastly, be sure to keep up with Nikki on Twitter this week as she's been working in the same studio as Justin Bieber out in NYC the past couple of days and providing some interesting insight into that whole experience. Looking forward to hearing the full story soon...

"Initiation is the process by which we turn from our natural inclination to remain unconscious and decide that whatever it takes — suffering, striving, enduring — we will pursue conscious union with the deeper mind, the wild self."
