Here's an "ICIMI" moment. I knew Linkin Park & Steve Aoki's new collab was going to drop last week but didn't have my alert on. Alas, here's the new lyric video for "A Light That Never Comes", which takes me back to LP's Reanimation and even Hybrid Theory days. This one's a motivational anthem where first, Shinoda mixes general, relatable lyrics in direct contrast to never before heard ways to lyrically paint the picture (Ex: "When it rains, it pours, When the floodgates open, brace your shores"). Chester croons a unifying and addicting chorus that makes this song a perfect nighttime listen. Aoki blends verse and hook with some uptempo breakdowns and altogether making it feel like more than just an LP song. This one is already growing with more listens.
