Tommy is a 23 year old hip-hop artist from Collegeville, Pennsylvania (a small suburban town outside of Philadelphia). He started writing lyrics at age 10 and looked to artists like Eminem, Jay-Z and Kanye West for inspiration. As hip-hop evolved Tommy adapted and found a way to tell his own story through his lyrics similar to new school artists such as Drake, J.Cole and Big Sean. Rapping about old friends, lost love and the struggles of being young and misunderstood, Tommy wants his fans to keep in touch while he takes off on his journey to success in the music industry.
This song, "Favorite Drug", is a single off of his debut album, entitled "Keep in Touch", which is set to release this summer. The official video was filmed in various locations around Ocean City, Maryland by Tommy's production team, Chiet Productions. The song is a representation of love as an addiction in which controls our lives. The instrumental was created by longtime friend and producer Jim Boonie who used a sample from "What You Need" by The Weeknd to help illustrate this story.
