Here's a documentary on Chicago violence from a Vice perspective. In my opinion however, Chicago is transcending it's historic violence, separation mentality, and hater persona into a dazzling display of unity & brotherhood. Underneath this layer of darkness has always been an unbreakable foundation of soulful purity — the city will be the prime example of the Phoenix rising from its own ashes; newly reborn as the city of radiant peace! It's already happening now...

An example of Chicago's historic faith in themselves and the city, can be summed up in the embodiment of the people's undaunted determination to rebuild their city after the shocking 1871 Great Chicago Fire. This literal rise from the ashes of an old foundation, formed a basis for the city's rebirth as an innovative leader of the country's architecture, technology, entrepreneurial business, art, and beyond. From this perspective I believe Chicago has the potential to be reborn from the fires of violence and bloodshed, into a leading example of humanitarian unity and love as a shining example for All of the world to follow.
