After a steady stream of Monday releases, Vic Spencer unleashes his Rapping Bastard album that sees features from Saba, MC Tree, Martin $ky, and Via Rosa. He keeps it at 12 tracks so it's most certainly an easy listen for this weekend and beyond. Tune in to Vic at perhaps his most high-intensity yet.
"We recorded this last January…this was the second track i recorded with Chance, and the first time i met Vic. Later that day i gave him the “Midway Dagger” beat for Walk Away Music and the rest is history. Obviously Chano blew up and we never got to link musically so i took the opportunity to open my hard drive and make a jam!
Flippin the vibe of the original Nez n Rio beat and giving it that Mindbenda touch…hint, weed has involved lol"
- Doc Da Mindbenda
Vic, Chance, and the emerging hometown producer DBM. This one's a solid pick up for your rotation today.
This is the first release from Vic as a part of his Red Button release series. As a part of the series Vic is going to be releasing a new track every Monday leading up to his new project The Rapping Bastard. The Rapping Bastard is coming out this November.
Abbey Pub was overthrown the other night by our Gowhere team along with a few Chicago misfits or rappers should I say. While no police were notified or called to the scene, we did capture some shots of the artists behind bars, their bars over beats that is. Performances included G-B.A.L.L., KaRon Burgandy, surprise guest Calez, Trigga Gunz & more preceeding the headliner Vic Spencer.
Chicago, we'll see you tonight for a jam-packed lineup at Abbey Pub headlined by the hometown's Vic Spencer and featuring other up and coming Midwest emcees. All the details are above so be sure to come on out to the north side and discover new music while having a good time at a dope place to relax and take in some live music: Abbey Pub.

Vic Spencer's newest Monday release first catches your eye with this fantastic Mortal Kombat inspired artwork and then proceeds to ring loud with some slick rhymes from both he and featured guest Word Mann. I got this as a *Tibs Fav. and one that I think will catch your ear on the first listen.
