I've long been a fan of the Tomb Raider series for two main reasons: 1. my older brother played the original (and subsequent) sequels on the PlayStation 1, which expanded my mind to solve puzzles and think outside the box for solutions that I can apply later on in my design education and just everyday life. And 2. Angelina Jolie.

Tomb Raider: Survivor is the next in line for the series - set to impact all next-gen systems and computers on March 5th, 2013 and above is the newly released (and yes, awesome) trailer. One valid point about video game trailers nowadays is that it's all cinematic movie scenes and no gameplay, yet this 2 minute-plus video seems like it has some glimpses at the latter. 

The tease on the plot and some of the ridiculous adventures are on point though and this looks like another game that I'm going to encourage my older brother to pick up because he's way better than me at Tomb Raider and I'll just watch and see if I can help. Hah! Anyway, thought this was a fun break from the norm in the blog section so check out the video above if this piques your curiosity.
