One of two new singles from DJ Khaled released today. "You Don't Want Them Problems" is your in-your-face cut featuring gritty raps from all of the above. Timbo on the production, but it has more of Khaled's style than anything. Off the upcoming Suffering From Success.
Timbaland provided fans in Birmingham, UK a treat at last night's stop of the Magna Carter Tour — a preview of a new track with Jay Z & Drake together. Above is some footage that is, yes low quality, but good enough to get excited about given the dope melody and flow on Drake's verse (again, from what we can hear). I'm a fan so far and hope to see this properly premiered in the near future.
Team Breezy it’s time to rejoice again, as Chris Brown has officially set a new release date for his upcoming album, X. If you can remember X was originally suppose to drop back in July, but due to some behind the sense issues the project was pushed back to TBA status. But that’s neither here nor there because X will be hitting retail stores November 19th. X, which features singles “Fine China” and “Don’t Think They Know” is the follow up to Fortune, which didn’t do so well…
Chris has already revealed that we should expect to hear collaborations from Kelly Rowland, Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna, Brandy, and Kendrick Lamar. X will also feature production from Pharrell, Polow Da Don, Timbaland, Danja, Diplo, and Drumma Boy.
Not to long ago Chris spoke with Rolling Stone on the sound of X, which he says, "I tried to stay away from the Euro beats, and not go totally pop," Brown notes. "Instead, I wanted to take the Quincy Jones approach. The record pays homage to the Stevie Wonders, the Michael Jacksons, the Sam Cookes: I wanted to put that classic essence of R&B and soul with the new age of music now. There's a lot of live instruments, and a lot less Auto-Tune. I really wanted to demonstrate my vocal ability, creating the vibe of me singing along with a band."
This is really great news to hear! I really want Chris to win this era. I think him leaving behind the typical euro beat sound is a step in the right direction. At the end of the day Chris has the prefect voice for pop music, which would explain why he is so easily compared to Michael who also had the voice for that genre. I can’t wait to hear this album because the description of the sound he is explaining is exactly what I want to hear from him.
Finally we get another preview of The 20/20 Experience Pt. 2 with the album set for release in just less than 2 weeks. It's another Timbaland produced potential hit as JT puts down a catchy hook on "TKO" with smooth vocals throughout. I'm not sure about the Timbaland "She killed me with that coochie, cooch.." intro but everything else about this track is great. It's 7 minutes long so you know to expect a cool breakdown from Timbo and that's just what happened. Hey, if it's not broke, don't fix it, right? An easy *Tibs Fav. but we'll see how long this lasts in the roto.
The details are scarce, but the 30+ second teaser above makes it clear that Timba is looking to produce the next posthumous Michael Jackson project. Will it feature unreleased MJ vocals? Or Timbo remixes? A combo of both? I'll stop asking questions now?!
MJ's music is so timeless that it certainly doesn't need to be remixed but I know if Timbaland is handling the project, a. he'll be respectful and maintain MJ's essence, and b. has the potential to make a timeless hit for MJ on its own. So, I for one, approve. Hopefully more details to come sooner than later.
Stay Trippy is another hip hop album to see its release later this month — August 27th to be exact — and as a creative gift to his fans today, Juicy J made the album available for full, free streaming... by playing a game on his website. Check it out here to play and unlock tracks that feature the likes of Justin Timberlake (a *Tibs Fav., produced by Timbaland, and ripped to listen below by Miss Info), Big Sean, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and many more.

Meanwhile, your random #InstaVideo of the day is one that Bulls fans should take caution watching... because you'll immediately be missing Nate Robinson...
Originally posted by 5ABIOmaticearlier today, I had to bring this news to the top as Timbaland was pretty revealing in this sit-down with Revolt TV. He spilled a collab that us many of us salivating: "Sinatra In The Sands" — Nas featuring Jay Z & Justin Timberlake. Says, "Justin sounds like Frank Sinatra." Yup! Need this.
Also discussed: Timbaland's perspective on new Aaliyah music with Drake & Chris Brown. Here's the quote.
"It would never work... Cause Aaliyah music only work with its soulmate... which is me."
Timbaland wasn't sending any shots, and even went on to say some really positive things on Drake (whom he collabed with before, if you forgot). He also said that Missy Elliott was inspired by the Samsung commercial to make new music again. And Timbaland wants to continue finding out each other's artistry telling Jay, to essentially keep making music while we got that energy flowin. That's a "Gowhere You Love" moment right there! Watch the dope, quick-hit talk for all of Timbo's words himself above.
