Hah! First off, this cover art, definition, and antonyms. That pulled me in with open ears to this track and the sounds didn't disappoint. The chorus has an infectious flow that's carried out by both Ace B8gie and in his own way by ShowYouSuck. I vibe with the bravado on this track combined with the lethal production from Bobby Johnson. Nice first impression to Ace and Bobby Johnson for me personally with "Goofoo".
Ricky Dubs and SRNC Management, the Molemen drop "Chicago Sessions: Volume.1" a mixtape showcasing the best talent and the best music out in the city of Chicago at this moment. A great pickup to dive into different artists from the city of Chicago and to get familiar with the different talent that our great city has to offer. Chicago is at its peak in Hip-Hop with a boom of upstarts and veterans all making a name for themselves. Enjoy!
A new joint from ShowYouSuck that brings awareness to those still on the flip phones (hey, RAZR's were cool though... like 8 years ago, but still). Show's humorous side is sprinkled throughout, but he also visualizes a story that I think would translate well to a video over a soulful production by Thelonious Martin. Good stuff with OMPP4: Slice After Death dropping next week on the 23rd.
As mentioned in a recent interview with J.R. Bang on Windy City Underground, ShowYouSuck will include new material as well as some remixes on OMPP4, and today we're met with the first of said remixes - "Mom Jeans 2.0." The new beat comes via the Hood Internet, who offers a reworking of James Pants' remix of Them Jeans' original "Baloons," with Show's denim laced lyrics sprinkled on top. And be sure to check out Show's first drop off OMPP4, "XXX (Straight Edge)," before the project releases 1 week from today.
