At a live show in NYC that's still ongoing at posting time, Pusha T has announced that his debut solo album will be titled, My Name Is My Name, and will impact sometime in 2013. Prior to that, you can still expect his mixtape, Wrath Of Caine, before 2012 turns into 2013. More details, and hopefully new music, forthcoming...
Earlier in the year, it was "Exodus 23:1," then it was his verse in "New God Flow," and now G.O.O.D. Music signee, Pusha T is at it again. In a recently leaked snippet of a new Ludacris track,"Tell Me What They Mad For," off of his new album, "Ludaversal," Pusha took some jabs at Lil Wayne and Birdman.
In a recent interview, he described that he has no personal beef with Young Money, explaining that he simply rides for his team, and will defend them til the end. But listening to what he had to say in the new Luda track, he seems to have gotten pretty personal. He never overtly mentions Wayne's name, but it's pretty clear who he's talking about. Here's what he had to say:
"With your baby mama f****in every rapper in the business
N****s saying you was better when the drugs was in your system
Now your crack swag gone ever since u came from prison
Got you tweeting all stupid, is you skatin’, is you dissin’
Found out your ghost leased and your phantom just rented
Won’t leave it in your name like Pac when he went missing
Makaveli lives on so I’m riding on you b*****s"
Am I the only one who thinks this beef is getting kind of old? Anyways, be on the lookout for "Ludaversal" to drop soon.
In a live performance in Vancouver last night, Pusha T announced a new mixtape Wrath Of Caine, reports DP (of DatNewCudi). Footage from the show can be seen above and the mixtape will drop before Pusha's next solo album, currently slated for the first quarter of 2013.
