Not 24 hours after MGK proves that a rapper present at the NBA Draft Lottery ensures the #1 pick (small sample size, I admit), we finally get to hear the collab with Pusha T & Meek Mill: "Peso". MGK has previewed this at live performances, but alas, here's the studio version set to appear on the upcoming mixtape, Black Flag.

Dan Gilbert, son Nick, and MGK of course

Pusha T announces sophomore album title 'King Push'

Not having a debut album out is not stopping Pusha T from revealing plans about his upcoming sophomore album. That's right, in a new interview with AskMen, Pusha T says:

"I’m really on My Name Is My Name, and then my next album after that. I already got the whole mentality of it. I see it. It’s titled King Push. I don’t even think there’s going to be anybody on King Push."

The interview gets even more interesting as he describes turning down "N****s In Paris".

"He [Kanye] sent me some stuff that I don’t always feel. It happens. Then he’ll go out of his way to prove you wrong. And he does sometimes…”N*gg*s in Paris". You have to have that imagination sometime, and that’s something I’m learning. I’m so ready to rap and stuff that imagination don’t be kicking in."

Ouch. Hindsight is definitely 20/20, but man, that production was one of the best of 2011 and right up Pusha T's alley. I'm sure he's not kicking himself over the missed opportunity though. Back to the sophomore album, if there are indeed no features, I can see a short gap between first and second albums. But hey, let's see the first one come out, right?

BTS Pics: Pusha T "Millions" f/ Rick Ross

You knew a video for this one was comin'. I've heard and seen more positive reviews on "Millions" than I have negative ones (like mine), but there's no denying the fact that this resonates with most of us as a hype, going out record. Here's the first peek at the upcoming video in the slideshow above.

"Millions" will be off the upcoming mixtape from Pusha T, Wrath of Cain, coming soon.

Artwork & Release Date Round-Up: Pusha T, Casey Veggies, Travi$ Scott, & Curren$y

It's a flurry of newly revealed artwork and release dates today as I get back on the interwebs after a trip to the Apple Store resolved all my computer issues/saved my life. I decided to put 'em all together so follow along...

We begin with Pusha T revealing the artwork to Wrath Of Caine. No more details on the release date, other collabs, etc. but Pusha's buzz is at an all-time high. Grab his latest preview off the mixtape, "Millions" f/ Rick Ross, in Rip's Top 5 Songs of the Week, posted last night.

Also coming in with newly revealed artwork is Casey Veggies. His buzz continues to grow and it surely won't stop with the upcoming release of life changes. This one drops right around the corner on January 22nd.

Meanwhile, Pusha's G.O.O.D. running mate, Travi$ Scott, makes it easy for all of us by putting 2.22.13 on the cover above. Owl Pharaoh is the title of his debut album, but is it me, or does this seem too soon? I feel like there's not a lot of push on a single or anything and we're just about a month away from release. Remained to be seen...

And last but not least, Curren$y is set to make Super Bowl Sunday that much more of a great day for the football fan who loves hip hop, as he tweets that target date out of excitement after receiving some beats from Lex Luger and Chicago's own Thelonious Martin. Super Bowl Sunday is February 3rd, but you don't have to wait for some new releases from Spitta until then. He just dropped "Viva La Life" and "His & Hers Ferraris" in the past week. I doubt he'll be mute until February 3rd as well...
