Twitter's latest roast victim: Papoose. The interwebs went crazy with the MEMEs after Papoose performed a song after Kendrick Lamar & TDE's set, much to everyone's surprise. In fact, since he wasn't listed on the bill, and performed at that time slot, many were led to believe that he pulled a Lil Mama and just jumped on stage. Well, that was all cleared up today when Rosenberg said that TDE's camp told them they'd be bringing Papoose on stage because of the times he's looked out for Kendrick when Kendrick was still comin' up. The full interview and performance are below, and now Papoose's call-in to Hot 97. Enjoy the humorous MEMEs above.
In their first talk since last year's Summer Jam incident, Nicki Minaj sat down with Peter Rosenberg to talk it all out this morning! Essentially, Peter Rosenberg dissed Nicki's "Starships" song while hyping up the crowd at last year's Summer Jam, which led to Minaj taking offense and not performing later on in her scheduled set. The video above is the full 27 minute talk that Rosenberg and Nicki had this morning and it's an interesting play in the background this morning. Not that I'm caught up in this "beef", but moreso from an angle of resolving the conflict, it was interesting to hear both takes and perspectives. At the end of the day, it's water under the bridge now and they proceeded to talk about other topics like going back to her mixtape roots, her upcoming album, and even making a movie with Cameron Diaz. That conversation can be seen/heard below.
