It's official! The Dwight drama is over! ESPN sources report the rumored 4-team deal that has been talked about today is officially complete and Dwight Howard is headed to Los Angeles.
In the deal, the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams. In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless, a source told ESPN's Marc Stein.
One name you will notice is not in the deal is Pau Gasol. He was rumored to be included in the deal if you were following it earlier in the day (he's been rumored in about 742 trades in the past couple years anyway), but sources tell Stein that the deal is to be filed tomorrow and is indeed "Pau-less".
So how does this trade shape the Western Conference, let alone the entire league? Are the Lakers the pre-season favorite out of the West or is it the Thunder? (Or the Kings?)
