A couple of #NWTS tidbits are revealed today via the new RollingStone Fall Music Preview issue, and they're especially notable to get a picture of a two of the many tracks we don't know anything about right now.
On the intro, "Tuscan Leather":
"It’s a three-staged record – one [Whitney Houston] sample flipped three different ways, with a verse over each beat."
On the album in general, 40 also says it's a "huge change in tone,” and that Drake is “stepping up the attitude and playing hardball."
Drake says the standout track “Paris Morton Music II” is the clearest proof that he’s stepped up his game. “That track excites me from a rap standpoint, just getting off bars and different flows,” he says. “I played it for J. Cole, on some rap buddy-buddy shit, and he was like, ‘Damn!’”
So, there you have it folks. More intrigue for #NWTS as we are less than a month away from hearing the music for ourselves.
