Gambino fans, look no further than this post for a couple of interviews you got to lend your eyes and ears to.
First, and most recently, Glover stopped by the Juan Epstein podcast to talk with Rosenberg & Cipha Sounds — mainly about life experiences, while also touching on the music. A few takeaways: Gambino talks about seeing the fake B.S. in the industry and around him, his friendship with Jhene Aiko, and wanting to make pop music (you'll have to hear him describe it, it's not what you think). Press play above and leave it up in the background for the next hour. Rosenberg & Cipha keep it light-hearted as well so there are plenty of humorous moments to keep you further engaged (Rosenberg losing the auction at the end was hysterical).
The other interview I want to spotlight is a must-read feature by Slava Pastuk for Noisey. It's entitled 'Fear And Trembling' and is an even more raw and insightful Glover bouncing from topics like more ideas behind Clapping For The Wrong Reasons, a terrible experience in Las Vegas trying to get his parents into his concert, the rap critics, and concluding on a question touching on how he feels like he's the "son of Kanye". I have always respected and resonated with Donald Glover and his music for his honesty and that's really illustrated in these interviews. Read this full feature here.
Because The Internet, Gambino's upcoming album, drops December 10th!
