Well we already knew Rihanna was set to perform, but now MTV has announced that the model will be the show opener. As I mentioned yesterday she will be performing 'We Found Love' then leading into 'Cockiness' with A$AP Rocky.
Well this is a nice little announcement just in time before the 2012 MTV VMA’s air. 2 Chainz aka Hair Weave Killa, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne are now scheduled to perform on the 2012 VMA stage Thursday night airing live at 8/7c.
Also gracing the stage will be Alicia Keys who will debut her first live performance of her first single ‘Girl On Fire’. There’s no word on if Nicki Minaj will join her on stage since she is featured on Keys new single.
Rihanna will also be performing on the VMA’s her newly rereleased song ‘Cockiness’ now featuring rapper A$AP Rocky, and ‘We Found Love’ alongside Calvin Harris. Are you enthusiastic about the newly added performers?

In 2008, Nicki Minaj endorsed President Obama with her own verses over a beat by Kanye West. This year, she will be supporting Mitt Romney and the Republican campaign. Could this be the most foul thing to ever come out of her mouth? Thoughts guys?
Alicia Keys' new single "Girl On Fire" is slated for a September 4th release, and now comes the news that the 'Inferno' remix of the song will also coincidingly release on the same day and feature Nicki Minaj. Given the song title, Nicki seems like a good fit. I'm betting the ladies will be hooked and eager to see the concept in just a couple of days. Alicia will also be performing the single at the VMAs on September 6th (no word if Nicki will perform it with her) and the album, also titled Girl On Fire, drops November 27th.

Nicki Minaj and her many personalities will reportedly join Mariah Carey at the judging table on American Idol as stated by US Weekly. Two sources have confirmed that Nicki is 100% in.
"I'm not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it," one insider reveals. "A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening."
A second source says the "Super Bass" rapper, 29, is "100% confirmed to judge American Idol." Rumors of Minaj joining Idol have been running ramped for awhile now, and today or sometime this week seems to be the we might get a confirmed yes from either Fox or Minaj herself.
This is a great career move if Nicki does in fact join Idol. Two number albums, world tour, Adidas deal, and Pepsi deal Minaj can’t be stopped. Why would she pass up the chance to take her career to new highest, and to also sit along side legend Mariah Carey? It’s a win win if you ask me.
