Ciara releases her new track with Nicki Minaj called "I'm Out". This is the lead single off of her upcoming self titled album Ciara which hits stores July 9th.
The single comes a couple days earlier than expected, albeit in Radio Rip form. Nonetheless, we get to hear a catchy collab from Mario & Nicki Minaj, with Polow's production an instant hit using a sample for the hook (which I didn't expect over Mario singing the hook... but you'll see why it works).
Mario stands out as a highlight on "Somebody Else" with a variety of deliveries in the verses, crooning over a loved one that leaves him. Nicki rocks the slow flow, which I'm not totally feelin, but it rides the beat well. She adds to the story though with the female perspective and that makes her verse more hit than miss. Overall, it's an instant *Tibs Fav. and I hope it becomes a strong mainstream single for an artist I've always liked in Mario. The CDQ will make a big difference so keep in tune for that update.
