Destiny's Child reunite for Kelly Rowland's "You Changed"

Last week when the tracklist to Kelly Rowland's upcoming album, Talk A Good Game, was revealed, one track that surely caught even the most casual observer's eye was the collaboration with Beyonce & Michelle Williams, "You Changed". We didn't have to wait too long to hear what Destiny's Child sounds like together again in the studio. Remember, at the top of the year we had "Nuclear", but that was never really pushed as a single. "You Changed", on the other hand, may get those legs as it's a relatable jam that does take you back to when the ladies were an official trio. Listen to a rip of the track below, that I liken to ACQ, instead of CDQ — alarm clock quality.

Destiny's Child To Perform During Super Bowl Halftime Show

In some not so shocking news reported by Us Weekly Destiny’s Child will indeed join Beyoncé on stage during her Super Bowl halftime performance. The best selling girl group of all time will perform a medley of their biggest hits and will also be singing their new song, “Nuclear” produced by hit maker Pharrell. The song is lifted off their new album Love Songs, which was reported earlier today.

After Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams exit the stage Beyoncé will then debut her lead single from her extremely highly anticipated fifth album. One can only imagine the magnitude of a show Beyoncé is going to put on at the Super Bowl. I expect to get every bit of my life from this performance. Check out Destiny’s Child last performance together at the BET Awards below:

Dwyane Wade's Chicago Has Talent Showcase [Slideshow]

And now... the photos! Closing out August every year in Chicago, Dwyane Wade returns to his hometown for a weekend of charity events raising money and awareness for Wade's World Foundation. One of the main events is the Chicago Has Talent Showcase - a talent show displaying the variety of talents the Chicago youth has to offer.

Last week, we brought you the video (which includes words from Wade himself, judge Michelle Williams (of Destiny's Child), and co-host Tika Sumpter), and now in the slideshow above, we have some cool photos from the Chicago Theatre. In addition to the big-name celebs on hand, also see photos of featured performer Jacob Latimore, judges Billy Dec, David Silbaugh, and Kim Tyler, and last but certainly not least - the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners - Maeya Ryan, Jake Julian, and Kristen Lowe.

I can't emphasize enough how talented not only those three, but all of the performers. Once again, catch the video below in case you missed it and see for yourselves!

Dwyane Wade's Chicago Has Talent Recap [Video]

Loading the player...

Last Saturday, we were on hand for Dwyane Wade's annual Chicago Has Talent Showcase - a talent show for Chicago's youth to express their skills in music, rapping, singing, dancing, spoken word, and more. I love going to the show every year to take in a variety of heartwarming performances that really illustrate an astonishing amount of talent from kids and teenagers of the area. Case in point: 1st place winner Maeya Ryan is an 11-year old pianist who could belt the high notes where if you had your eyes closed, you would think you're listening to Adele. She was amazing. The video above spotlights all of the performers so you can really get a sense of the types of talents on display!

We also got a chance to talk with Dwyane Wade himself as he told B96's Julian On Da Radio about the goals of Wade's World Foundation. We applaud Wade for giving back to underdeveloped communities and helping educate the youth in his hometown, Miami, and across the world. He has some great words about the foundation above and you can find out more at dwyanewade.com/foundation.

But that's not all! Julian also chatted with one of the judges of the Talent Showcase - former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams - and one of the co-hosts of the evening, actress Tika Sumpter. Also performing at the Chicago Theatre was Jacob Latimore (who really had the young crowd going crazy) and Coco Jones, and you can see snippets of their performances too. All in all, it was an entertaining show and all for a great cause! Watch all the highlights and interviews above and remember to check out Wade's World Foundation for more!
