With Barack Obama staying in office (shout to Ohio) Mariah Carey shows her support for our President. Take a moment of your time to get your life from these vocals Mariah is serving!
Mariah Carey is not playing games with the release of her 13th studio album. With collaborations already confirmed with R. Kelly, Bryan Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, The-Dream, and Darkchild, it seems she's up to something with producer Hit-Boy, famous for producing Jay-Z and Kanye West's'N**gas In Paris' and Kelly Rowland's'Lay It On Me.'
Hit-Boy went on to tweet "If I was in the studio with one of the biggest selling artists of all time and had a bottle of honey jack daniels on the way.. oh that's now" and "Nobody got this range. Maxing out." This is sure to be a hot collaboration. Who wouldn't be grateful?
Well its time to save the date people! The 12th season of American Idol is set to premiere January 16th and the 17th at 8pm ET on FOX. New to idol this year is pop artist Nicki Minaj, country star Keith Urban, and the legendary icon Mariah Carey.
Now added to the list is hit maker The-Dream who has crated massive hits for stars such as Beyoncé. Last time The-Dream and Mariah Carey worked together was on her last studio album Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. Unfortunately that album sales wise didn’t do that well compared to Carey’s other albums. But all things considered it was still a great album.
Hopefully these to cook up something great because Carey can’t afford any mishaps this go round.
As you’ve all saw and heard Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj were recently involved in a verbal altercation on the set of American Idol. However, additional information about their recent showdown has come via the queen of superb shade throwing skills Mariah Carey herself.
Speaking exclusively to Barbra Walters if The View stated she is “emotionally uncomfortable” after the exchanges she had with Minaj. Carey specified that she is very concerned for her safety and has recently hired more security after her team heard Minaj yell, “if I had a gun I would shoot that bitch.”
American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe told TMZ, "The statement [that Nicki made a death threat] is absolute rubbish. It's absolutely not true in any way, shape or form." A lot of conflicting stories but Carey has stated that she will continue the show as a judge. Minaj has also stated to Mariah that they will probably fight again, and Carey stated, “no, we will not.”
One thing Minaj should keep in mind is to never disrespect someone whose Christmas cd sold more then your debut and rerelease album. Regardless of who started what Minaj should know acting out in public doesn’t reflect best on her. If you want a quick laugh check out Kid Fury’s thoughts on this.
If Beyoncé and Mariah Carey sign on for this my life is a wrap. I am for sure looking forward to this tribute and I’m pretty sure I’m going to need multiple boxes of tissues. I think we can all agree there will never be another Whitney Houston. Her ability to wrap a lyric and melody with genuine heartfelt passion with her larger then life voice was truly a gift. If you would like to attend this event tickets will be on sale from Ticket Master.
Last night none other then music icon Mariah Carey and singer-songwriter R. Kelly hit the studio last night. Mariah who’s been in Chicago for the past two days because of idol auditions tweeted the above picture.
I don’t think I even have to explain how incredibly talented these two are right here! Mariah Carey and R. Kelly together and separate have more hits then your favorite artist today. Fingers crossed that whatever they did last night makes Mariah’s new album due later next year.
Before it was even set in stone that Nicki Minaj was joining American Idol as a judge, rumors ran rampant that Mariah Carey had some sort of beef with her. Word spread like wildfire that Mariah and Nicki couldn’t get alone, but the diva herself put those rumors to rest at a recent press conference on Monday.
“How are we gonna feud in two days? Let the feud take a little longer to spread out. It’s fun. It’s music. It’s singing. It’s laughter,” Mariah jokingly said.
I honestly don’t know how this rumor even started nor why people believed it? I’m just going to guess that everyone forgot about this? All I know is I can’t wait till this season of idol starts. I’m currently planning my next semester classes around the show so I don’t miss Mariah. And yes it is that deep for me!
It was rumored, and now confirmed, that Nicki Minaj will be a judge, joining Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson, for the upcoming 12th season of American Idol. Apparently, FOX will be having a press conference of the announcement tomorrow, which of course raises the question, American Idol judge announcements are worthy of press conferences?
