"My bitch just split the swishers, my niggas split the residuals."
Earl Sweatshirt brings in Mac Miller to create the song Guild from his album Doris. It's a bass-heavy eerie sounding beat that has become the trademark of most Odd Future albums. Earl and Mac combine to drop a few gems in this track so check it out, if you're a fan of either of the artists you should love this. #Guild
Statik Selekt's got the Extended Play dropping June 18th and here's an eclectic collab with Sean Price & Mac Miller. Price kills it — the raw hip hop beat, scratches, and sample on the hook are tailor made for his sound. I was skeptical when hearing all those elements prior to Mac's verse. It didn't seem like the natural fit for him but he spit some clever lines and delivered them well too.
Ladies and Gents, I give you Mac Miller's "Watching Movies With The Sound Off" album artwork(?) Kidding...I honestly hope this is the real cover. Too bad Mac won't be in Chicago this summer on the #SPACEMIGRATIONTOUR with Chance. Cool Mac.
It's called The Space Migration Tour, and Mac Miller is set to go on the road with a lot of buzzing artists such as Chicago's very own Chance The Rapper. Chance will be with Mac on all of the tour's dates over the summer, with Meek Mill, Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, and Mac's REMember Music artists like Njomza to appear on select the dates. Shaping up to be a good group of artists for a complete show. Check out the complete dates below (no Chicago date yet).
The tour will coincide nicely with Mac's upcoming album, Movies With The Sound Off, dropping June 18th.
