Lupe Fiasco, delivers out of nowhere, a fresh new set of bars that cleverly mixes his superb wordplay, alliteration, and storytelling for an untitled, turned self-promoting new track called "LupeFiascoStore.com".
You'll have to run this back a few times to catch every word and meaning. I'm still doing so after a few listens myself. Easy *Tibs Fav. by Lu (over Common's "Communism").
Lu is closing his Twitter account and re-launching it at the start of 2013. In the meantime, you can follow... you guessed it... @LupeFiascoStore for more updates.
Check out this interview with Lupe as he opens up about several different topics, including why he would never sign to G.O.O.D. Music, going indie, favorite rappers, and more. The interview is long but a good viewing. I rock with you on the White Sox pick, but picking Blackberry is like my parents using Internet Explorer. Can't cosign that one.
Lupe Fiasco took to Twitter to announce a flurry of upcoming singles and albums due out in the next six months or so. Definitely looking forward to all of these; we had known of FL2GARApt2 for next spring, but not SNDCLSH and the Japanese Cartoon re-release (ITJOTLOD still gets some good run in my shuffle). Lots to look forward to Lupe fans!
(In the meantime, here's the title sequence to the 2012-13 Chicago Bears sit com)
Via Twitter, Lupe reveals a Spring 2013 release for FL2: The Great American Rap Album Part 2. Looks like he's not stopping after Part 1, huh? (And he really wants to wrap up that Atlantic deal, I'm sure). Lookin' forward to see Lupe keep it movin'. Part 1 in stores now!
