Since the untimely passing of Paul Walker last weekend, Tyrese is someone we can all feel for as he's put out some raw and emotional words throughout the week on his social channels. Plus, there was the emotion of him breaking down at the Paul Walker crash site. Now, Tyrese channeled those feelings onto music with this new tribute song featuring fellow Fast & The Furious co-star Ludacris and The Roots.
It's hard not to appreciate the words by both Tyrese and Luda and sonically, it's just the right mood for it too. You can tell The Roots influence on it, with the hook also standing out as well. You can listen to this tribute song with some appropriate accompanying footage below. R.I.P. Paul Walker.
The new single for Ludaversal, Luda goes for the streets with this clubby, getting f'd up type of song. Not really vibing with this one, but I can see it catching on in general. DJ Mustard on the production. Album TBD later this year.
One of the new premieres from the L.A. Leakers mixtapethat dropped today as Luda links up with the hometown's Da Internz for a club/dance track originally intended for Ludaversal. This would definitely be a feel-good jam in the club; the production sets the tone for that, but Luda's hook is a little lacking.
