Logic returns with a brand new track and it's an instant *Tibs Fav. featuring equally slick bars from Casey Veggies on the first verse. It was Logic's fast, old-school flow that reeled me in on verse 1, along with that raw, infectious production. Logic comes back nicely with this one after the release of Welcome To Forever and his spot on the nationwide Cud Life Tour took over his summer and fall respectively. Tune in!
UPDATE: Impressive. Logic himself was behind the boards on this one. You know he's been workin' when he's not on stage, huh.
After releasing an onslaught of captivating singles this summer that included Underground Kangs, All Right, Northside Get The Money and 20/20 we finally get the full on production, INEBRIATION from Chicago emcee Lungz. The project includes features from XXL Freshmen Logic and Dizzy Wright, as well as features Chicago emcees King Louie , Saba, and a collection of gritty instrumentals by various producers.

In another edition of ICYMI, the new release that I think takes the cake for the past couple of days is J. Cole's short film for "Crooked Smile". I was expecting to see TLC in the video, but J. Cole had a different approach. Instead, there were no performance scenes and he told the story of himself as a drug dealer and a DEA agent after him. They each love their respective daughters but things take a sad turn when the DEA agent and his team take down Cole's character. The video is in memory of Aiyana Stanley-Jones, which if you read her story, you'll see how she was the inspiration. I'm sure I'm amongst many who felt emotional after taking this one in and so if you haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest you do when in the right mood. Brilliant job by Cole and director Sheldon Candis.
Logic, while currently on the Cud Life Tour, dropped a new release today featuring King Chip called "Two Kings". The two find themselves over a slick C-Sick production and both proceed to drop some real solid bars. Logic was smooth with his references, especially on the first verse, so this one will catch your ear off the bat.
For all those who haven't heard the news yet. Visionary Music Group (home to Logic) just announced that our homie QuESt will be joining the team as their latest pick up. Congratulations to both sides. Lets all wish QuESt the best of luck and continued prosperity throughout this new journey with Visionary. Good luck friend.
"Visionary Music Group is excited to announce the signing of Miami based hip hop artist, QuESt. Fresh off a sold out national tour supporting fellow Visionary Music Group and Def Jam artist Logic. Today we're excited to release a brand new record and visual entitled "NEATO Season." QuESt decides to tackle the classic Childish Gambino "Unnecessary" track.
"NEATO Season" is the first song/visual QuESt is releasing as a Visionary Music Group artist. This record will be on QuESt's upcoming project set to release later this year. We're not going to release the mp3 until his full project is released."
