Here is Krewella's follow-up single to "Alive" called "Live For The Night". It has a similar uptempo electro-pop production and a liberating theme of freedom to that of their Billboard Hot 100 charting single. I can see "Live For The Night" reaching similar success as, no doubt, people will vibe with the going out vibes in the song overall, and the chorus especially (my favorite part of the song). Also, Jahan and Yasmine go a little deeper with lengthier verses than their longtime fans may be accustomed to. Always great to see this Chicago group take the next step to superstardom! Be on the lookout for "Live For The Night" taking over summer radio stations and their collab with Nicky Romero dropping July 15th.
The official remix to "Alive" by producer Hardwell adds an agressive house edge to one of the fastest-rising singles in the country (and one song that just won't leave my rotation). This remix would sound even greater at a raging club, although I do prefer the original overall. More big things on the way from Krewella!
Congrats to Chicago EDM group Krewella for the official announcement that they've signed to major label Columbia Records, via this New York Times article this weekend spotlighting the growing genre. It's an amazing reflection to see these three come up from the beginning here at GWHH and with this big move, it's really only the beginning. Bonus birthday shoutout to Jahan who's celebrating one today!
