The bar was set high with "Jay-Z Interview" and the presence of Kid Cudi to be featured on Hit-Boy's next single "Old School Caddy". Now we have the song above, but does it live up to the hype? For me, yes. Hit-Boy flexes a fast flow with a laid-back delivery and some clever lines throughout his first 2 verses. And when I saw that Cud was featured, I was assuming just a hook, but nope! Cud kicks it in the third verse, matching Hit-Boy's flow and intensity and also rhyming good from beginning to end. Now for the actual hook: a simple, yet effective one that's rapped by Hit-Boy and features some well-timed scratching. The production as a whole is as on point as the track as a whole. Easy *Tibs Fav.™ status as Hit-Boy continues to prove he's here to stay as an emcee, in addition to his mega-hits as a producer. One last related tidbit: Kid Cudi was on the set with Adrian Grenier on an upcoming movie... details to be released soon..!
