Big Sean not only gets Rick Ross & Travi$ Scott for the remix to one of Hall Of Fame's fan favorites "10 2 10", but he also puts down a new, long verse himself. I especially liked his bars on haters; thought it was clever. Overall, I've never been able to get into the original though personally, but no doubt this bangs in a club or before a concert. Tune in and see if you like what Rozay & Scott have to offer too.
Drake lets loose his new single off Nothing Was The Same early this morning — an OVOGOOD collab, shall we say? 2 Chainz and Big Sean provide feature verses with Drake rapping one and singing the hook too. This record is not without its moments, whether it's Aziz Ansari yelling "No More Free Randy" to start it off (ridiculous in a hilarious way), 2 Chainz saying his "di*k so hard it make the metal detector go off" (ridiculous in a non-hilarious way), another anthemic Drake chorus, and Big Sean's first clever reference to Glee actress/girlfriend Naya Rivera.
Me? I'm lukewarm on this record. I sense others will feel more strongly one way or the other and more positive than negative. So... what do you think?
The new single off the upcoming album, Hall Of Fame, due out August 27th. Gonna listen and update with commentary after Game 6!
UPDATE: Game over. Blackhawks WIN!
But to the topic at hand:
Single potential. Fun beat and one that Sean is readily adapting to with a smooth flow and good story. Jhene is soothing on the hook and Weezy is a nice fit on this one as well. So off the first listen...
