2008ighties representa and Stones Throw artist Ju' Malone (as he's going by now... shortening to "Ju'" from "Julian") drops a new, self-produced track off his upcoming mixtape, Diff.Rnt. "Let Me Go" is a theraputic track for Malone who asks for some space across this one. He raps it better than I can explain, especially in the middle of the second verse (my favorite part). Look out for more from Ju' leading up to Diff.Rnt's release on October 1st.
The dope cover art is also inspired by "shonen jump".
Julian Malone, Closed Sessions, and producer Exile link up for this new release "Pair Of Dice". This also comes along with a short documentry letting people get to know Ju Malone on a more personal level. You get to see him talk about his creative process and about his growth as an artist.
For one last treat over an industry beat, Julian Malone drops some slick rhymes over the Tribe classic "Electric Relaxation". It's a quick-hit 2 minute listen for ya ears. Press play on this *Tibs Fav. above.
Last week, the GWHH-Sponsored "We R Hip Hop" featured a packed bill of talented Chicago emcees on stage at Reggie's and we were on stage to bring you some up close photos to get to know some of these artists better!
When I first pressed play on this song I almost immediately started nodding my head. This track is perfect riding music, and from the screen shots that I saw for the video it’s going to be just as epic as the song.
Joe Budden in my opinion is one of the most underappreciated artists in hip-hop. He has consistently delivered on all of his albums and mixtapes since he came into the game. His new album “No Love Lost” drops February 5th.
