The multi-talented Emmy-winning director also raps and plays as part of a band: Untitled. On "U", Cam is rhyming with fellow emcee/videogrpaher Josh Free for the first release off their upcoming Be Free project (get it?).
In fact, Cam kicks off the song with some conscious lyrics set to a series of pictures where he displays his impressive vinyl collection with his current home of Miami as the gorgeous backdrop. You may have to run it back to catch both the rhymes and all the classics that Cam owns (some are even citied in the lyrics).
Cam & Josh then bring it back home for a grimier set of fun photos under Chicago's "El" and off Milwaukee Avenue. Josh follows suit with some dope rhymes himself that conclude on the same theme of giving to "U".
As you can see by now, we already have an innovative video from these directors who elevate your typical 'rapping to the camera' video to another level. Props on the originality that only continues with the fresh break for the instrumental set to timelapses in Miami and Chicago (love timelapses, you already know!)
Then J. Ivy, complete with his own set of photos in New York, masterfully concludes the track with some truth:
"You and I are one beneath the barriers of this flesh
Like energy we connect
Yes, it's true
You see the light in my eyes because God shines through
I see the light in yours. That's why I'm giving it all... to U."
- J. Ivy
And the video masterfully concludes by cutting to actual motion; J. Ivy's words above are effectively driven home with the sudden change of seeing him speak them to us after a video devoid of that. One last salute goes to singer D-Train for bridging the verses with a soulful hook that matches the nice production. The record easily stands alone on its own, and is made even more powerful with the video above.

Follow GWHH in this new video above on our road trip from Chicago, IL to Austin, TX where we attended SXSW 2012 earlier this year! We were rollin' in double digits, rented a van, rented a house in Austin, and attended all of the big-name events that were going on all week at SXSW. Seen in the video is a compilation of some of the fun times we had together on the road trip and a glimpse at some of those events and interviews we got during the week. Easily one of the most memorable team trips ever, shoutout to #TeamGowhere!
