With no word on the official release date, the Brooklyn homie, Joey Bada$$, had this to say about the upcoming project:

99 Rejex is a compilation of tracks that didin't make my debut mixtape, '1999'. I decided to put out this project because I have a lot of unreleased material I didn't want to keep from the ears of my fans and supporters. I also have a few tracks that I did when I was 15 years old ("Little Ratchet", "Indubitable", and "Silent Knight") and I wanted to show people the progress I've made over the past few years. I look at Rejex as my more experimental side compared to 1999.
