"For me, I'm a creative genius and there's no other way to word it. I know you're not supposed to say that about yourself. And I say things the wrong way a lot of times but my intention is always positive."
- Kanye West
UPDATE: The interview, broken down into 6 parts, is above and below and awesome. This is 'Ye at his most honest and captivating. This is why those of us who support Kanye West, the artist, support Kanye West. This is also probably why those who don't support Kanye West. I think he's misunderstood, and interviews like this make him even more misunderstood to those who already do. I can see why he rubs people the wrong way as well, but in a society of fake celebrities, fabricated stories, and underlying politics in all industries, to see the biggest star of ours in Kanye West take advantage of a platform like this to drop some knowledge and his passionate perspective, it's truly refreshing. And yes, he's the biggest star. You're not dropping what you're doing and live tweeting a late night talk show interview if it's Jay Z, Drake, or Lil Wayne. Probably not even Eminem (although I would). And thus concludes my own "Kanye rant", ha!
Here's the Kanye West x Jimmy Kimmel feud recap! High comedy, ahead.
'Ye went off on an all-caps Twitter rant last night aimed at Jimmy Kimmel for his spoof of Kanye's interview with Zane Lowe this week. I love Ye's passionate first tweet about spoofing the first honest piece of media in years. The rest are escalating in anger and some purposeful humor (see: @KanyeWest).
#NoDissrespectToBenAffleck #AllDissrespectToJimmyKimmel is gold.
Kimmel not only responded on Twitter, but also in a segment last night seen above. I'm sure this will blow over, but it was surely entertaining too. As a big fan of both, I hope it does blow over and 'Ye goes on Kimmel sometime in the future. Your thoughts on the feud?
