Beyoncé and Jay–Z Kick It Courtside at The Nets Game

I seriously need to buy tickets to see the Brooklyn Nets play because your pretty much guaranteed to see the Carters their. Last night Beyoncé and Jay-Z watched the Brooklyn Nets smash the New York Knicks. In just four months Beyoncé will be returning to the music scene on February 3rd to preform during the halftime show at the Super Bowl. Then kick over to February 16th we can catch her HBO documentary airing.

Also rumor has it that Beyoncé will be debuting a new single during the Superbowl halftime show. I could see this being very much true since this would be one of the highest platforms any artist to debut a new single. Seriously do you know how many people watch the Super Bowl? Knowing Beyoncé she’s going to reap all the benefits from this launch into her next album.

I wonder what they were talking about here because the look Beyoncé is giving Jay-Z in this picture is priceless.

Street Fashion King: The Story of Dapper Dan

"I wear a G on my chest, I don't need Dapper Dan" - Jay-Z

This week on Jay-Z's YouTube Channel, street wear pioneer, Dapper Dan is highlighted in his first interview in over 20 years. The Harlem-world native, talks about how he became an independent clothes designer after major brands refused to sell to him because he was black. He became the go-to guy for custom designer clothing in New York. In turn, he made pieces for the likes of almost every local black gangster, rapper, and athlete. Dapper may have the biggest influence on modern street wear clothing lines and boutiques, and he goes into his detail about how he made his name below. Beyoncè To Headline 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Over the years, the Super Bowl Halftime Show has been one of the main reasons why some people watch the Super Bowl each year. Greats like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and Prince have headlined this show. So whom could you possibly pick to continue the greatness? Well none other then Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter! Yes Beyoncé! She is set to now headline the 2013 halftime show.

The Associated Press has reported Beyoncé will headline the Super Bowl XLVLL Halftime Show on February 3rd 2012 in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Expect to see appearances from hubby Jay-Z and her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

I currently cannot deal with life right now! Beyoncé is most certainly going to put on the GREATEST halftime show ever and I’m stating that now!

The Places and Spaces I’ve Been by Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams, aka Skateboard P, rapper, singer, composer, fashion designer, producer and now author will be releasing his new book The Places and Spaces I've been.  He puts into a book his casual conversations with the industry's leading players including Anna Wintour, Kanye West, and Jay-Z. Learn what makes a great cd to the daily routines of today's geniuses.  Also learn what stopped hip hop dead in it tracks according to Jay Z.

“First we got to go back to before grunge and why grunge happened. Hair bands’ dominated the airwaves and rock became more about looks than about actual substance and what it stood for—the rebellious spirit of youth….That’s why “Teen Spirit” rang so loud because it was right on point with how everyone felt, you know what I’m saying?

It was weird because hip-hop was becoming this force, then grunge music stopped it for one second, ya know? Those ‘hair bands’ were too easy for us to take out; when Kurt Cobain came with that statement it was like, “We got to wait awhile.” I have always been a person who was curious about the music and when those forces come on the scene, they are inescapable. Can’t take your eyes off them, can’t stop listening to them. [Cobain] was one of those figures. I knew we had to wait for a second before we became that dominant force in music.”  - Jay-Z
