As always, the Jabbawockeez bring creativity and their unique style to the stage, this time at Hip Hop International 2012. This video shows that even the successful can stay humble. The dance itself starts at about 4:40, but my favorite moment is at 5:50 where the Jabbawockeez show how even the simplest move can have a super theatrical effect. The "Living Legends of Hip Hop Award" celebrates their influence on hip hop dance. They do not perform as a backup to another artist, but as a headliner to their own show. This video gives just a narrow glimpse into how the Jabbawockeez are reaching new levels of combination for dance, theatre, and music (SB even creates his own music under JBWKZ Records). Since becoming America's Best Dance Crew in 2008, they have had continued success with their Las Vegas (MÜS.I.C) show that has expanded to Australia and Atlantic City. This show combines choreographed dance with theatre, comedy, and freestyle, and frequently extends their show seasons in response to the high number of requests. The Jabbawockeez have created an entire enterprise based on collaboration that can easily span past the original members. #LegendsNeverDie is right.
