Today Rhymesayers announced the rest of the dates for Brother Ali's Mourning in America tour during which he'll be joined by the band Blank Tape Beloved along with openers Homeboy Sandman, DJ Sosa, & The Reminders. Touring for pretty much the next two straight months, the rapper will hit the northside of Chicago in the middle of the tour on October 3rd at the Metro. Given the size of the venue and the amount of hype already being generated by Mourning in America and Living in Color, (which will only increase when it finally drops on September 18th), I'd say ya'll should cop your tix early because this show will definitely sell out. Gowhere NY was in attendance at the Cameo gallery for a great show from the incredibly lyrical Homeboy Sandman, presented by his label Stones Throw. After his lively performance, we stepped outside with Homeboy Sand for a much informative interview. He told us about an overseas tour coming up in May and talked about his new EP Chimera, available on iTunes here. So check out the interview above for all the details and some bonus show footage from the night.
