I LOVE having visitors in Chicago. When my visitors come, we find ourselves getting work done. D WEBB and CHI came in from Peoria, Illinois to perform for my birthday. To kill 2 birds with one stone, I invited them to GWHQ to give the Chicago hip hop scene an insight on NO CHASERS and D&V Entertainment. D WEBB reps the trailer parks of Peoria, but the love for his lyrics, stage presence, and drive to go along with his baby face is undeniable in the Central Illinois music scene. The NO CHASERS movement has undoubtedly made a remarkable impact on Peoria, Illinois. C.H.I., of D&V Entertainment, moved to Peoria from Chi-town and has made a mark in the Peoria hip hop scene. The two have one common mission: To have his music heard. Networking is the way to do it. D WEBB and C.H.I. have been doing collabos with anyone with skills and passion. They actually shout out EJAY, SHESMACKSHARD, and TYLER ON THE BEAT. Here's a look at networking at it's finest.

Recently, I linked with 2008ighties very own UG at the Gowhere headquarters. It's always a good time when this fresh hip-hop crew is around the office. This time around, I chopped it up with producer/rapper UG. We spoke about his relationship with the rest of BRKF$T Club, college life, his heritage, and his creative process behind his first full length tape Mercy Me.
The Straight Slammin' protege known as G-Scott slid through the Gowhere office a couple weeks ago to talk a little business. G-Scott and I linked for a quick interview before his Gowhere Hip Hop sponsored #HelloLosVegas listening party (video below).
I had a great time hosting his listening party and enjoyed interviewing the young Gary, IN producer/emcee. Check the interview above as G-Scott talks #HelloLosVegas, Proletarians, his writing process, favorite last resort drink, and relationship with Gangsta Gibbs.
