Tomorrow, we're ballin' for a great cause! We're happy to be sponsoring and playing in a 5-on-5 basketball tournament to benefit The Cure Foundation - all proceeds will be going to accomodate breast cancer patients and contribute to help find that cure.
There will be 16 teams and a host more of supporters to shoot some hoops, enjoy DJ and performances, and just have fun! Come on out to Skokie and join in on the support - you'll get to see #TeamGowhere ballin' and at our booth as well so be sure to say hi :)
Big shoutouts to Classick Studios & Elementary Clothing for putting this all together for the sixth straight year - this cause is near and dear to them and they got even more great things on the way for this event and beyond.
TONIGHT - the first of three GWHH-sponsored events this weekend is happening in Chicago. It's DOPE Christmas - the second show in E-Train's return home for the holidays. He'll be headlining the bill, with Young General hosting all night. Be sure to get there early after 8 because rising hip hop acts like M.L.A., The Boy lllinois, and Rich Jones will be on stage and on time. And these are all cats I'd personally suggest for your playlist - and everyone above is definitely going to bring a dope live show. It takes place at Debonair - a great and intimate venue for high-energy fun. Hope to see you there!

Last week, we threw our first of more events to come at the New Era Chicago flagship store downtown - a FREE show, nay! Experience.
Gemstones headlined "Elephant In The Room LIVE!" - the first time he performed tracks from his new mixtape (a must-DL), which included remixes of Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" and Fun's "We Are Young". Additionally, Gem performed many verses a capella style, to really drive home his eye-opening messages of building a relationship with God as well as the ills of society and the music industry. It's quite frankly the first, and only hip hip show we've all been to, that began with a blessing and ended with everyone joining hands in prayer. Yup, literally everyone. It was a powerful series of moments to say the least.
Adding to the experience was the live art during Gemstones' performance from Janeen. You can see her creation in the photos - a painting entitled "Gemstones" that was inspired by the words he was intensely delivering to the packed store. We'll have our own, in-depth video covering it all coming soon, but for now, get a glimpse of what went down with the amazing photos above and a bonus guerilla-style video of Gemstones performing "Crazy" below.

THE party to be at for NYE.
Yup, the Gowhere stamp of approval. If you're still making plans, look no further. Deals are affordable and it's gonna be packed with old and new friends for NYE at Lacuna Lofts.
Shouts to Marcus Shadden, who always DJs and throws a good party. It's Part 1 of his going-away to L.A. so wish him well!
For the first time ever, Gemstones is going to perform material from his new mixtape, Elephant In The Room, and we teamed with New Era to present this performance LIVE and FREE for you! Just drop in the New Era store downtown on 207 S. State St. between 7 and 9 tonight!
You'll also get to experience some live art by Janeen Kern, with music provided by Shade 45 & Power 92's DJ Averi Minor, and host Julian On Da Radio keeping things funny and entertaining. #TeamGowhere will be rockin' heavy, so come visit our table and take advantage of FREE giveaways, food, and beverages as well! Hope to see you tonight
