Gunplay, recently out of jail and now on house arrest, is going to keep it moving with the music as today, he announced a new mixtape on the way called, Cops N Robbers, with his Def Jam debut album, Medellin, due out soon after.
NBC Miami is reporting that Gunplay has been released from jail on $150K and house arrest. He still faces charges of aggrivated assault with a firearm, armed robbery with a firearm, and neglecting to use Stridex. /weekend update'd
Gunplay has gotten himself into some trouble with the law recently as TMZ first reports that the Miami rapper pulled a gun and assaulted his accountant back in April. He turned himself in this week on a warrant for robbery and TMZ learned that if convicted on both charges (the assault and he apparently stole a cell phone and gold chain), he could face life imprisonment. Earlier today, The Breakfast Clubannounced that Gunplay turned himself in on an outstanding warrant this morning stemming from an armed robbery and assault charge. No word on how long he'll be behind bars. Listen to the whole segment above.
