Adidas adiZero Rose 3

I just fell out of my chair when I saw this shoe.  The third shoe to come out of the greatlest love story ever, Derrick Rose and Adidas.  So much personal detail and personal special attention has been put into the shoe.  Good both on and off the court, the shoe features an oversized tongue emblazoned with his familty tree and paying homage to the (notorious) Englewood neighborhood, where he grew up.  Hopefully, residents of the current neighborhood can see this symbol that there is a way out of crime that has recently cause the death of many, including a murder with fingers pointing to Chief Keef.

The shoe features a brand new sillouette with synthetic and nubuck leather.  Expected to release on October 4th, the shoe will be priced at $160.  The initial release will feature black/white/red or grey/black/red color combos.  Seven more colors will be released closer to Christmas season.

What color are you going to get?

Pusha T for RSVP Gallery Collab coming soon!

RSVP gallery is collaborating with Pusha T.  The epitome of bringing fashion and hip hop together, the "Neon and Nonsense" afficionado has Pusha T "pushing" his gear.  I can't wait to check it out... but so far all I see is him rocking the t-shirts.  Last fall, Gowhere got the chance to meet A$AP Rocky at the A$AP x RSVP gallery event where he debuted an incredible line of jewels, sunglasses, and signature bandanas.

Until the official release of Pusha T x RSVP, I'll just have to get my hands on those Givenchy t-shirts that Kanye West and Jay Z have been rocking.

GWHH x Chicago's FNO [Photo Recap]

Last night was Chicago's forth FNO.  Originally started four years ago to boost consumer economic confidence, many of the Michigan Avenue stores opened their doors for freebies, cocktails, food, and prizes.

I met up with Heather after work.  When she said she was wearing a high low top with white shorts, she wasn't kidding!  I loved it. She happened to stumble across her outfit in Akira while looking for a maxi dress and discovered the amazing top.  The whole night, I was chasing after her in that stunning backless number with dramatic tail.  I wore a polka dotted ruffled wrap dress from Topshop with a vintage Prada parrot belt.  The weather was perfect and kicked off the evening at Sable.

Stop number one was Haberdash.  A local Chicago boutique filled with tons of dapper men's pieces.  Ladies, if you need to pick up an attractive (and successful) male date, I suggest you pretend to buy your brother a wallet and just browse the store checking out the um... merchandise. Big props to their staff that was so friendly and personable.  The in house barber even offered to shave our legs and trim our eyebrows... but we politely declined.  The team that works there is so fun.

Next stop was Sak's Fifth and Zara.  Sak's hooked our friend Danielle up with a free make over by Chanel.  The stylist gave her the cat eye / winged tipped eye.   Zara had champaigne flowing.   Tables after tables of champaigne glasses with seemingly limitless amounts of bubbly.  I bumped into this fabulous couple completely decked out in white and had to get a quick pic.  Was it the incredible black highlight, daring crusted jewel headband, or the all white pair... you decide!

Megan & Jackson

After spotting a pregnant woman snacking on a breadstick, Heather, Danielle, and I later figured out that the center pieces were actually edible.  Always trust the pregnant women.

I copped some killer flats with cap toe studs for only $50!  And last but not least, Matt Rolan was spinning killer disco vibe beats all night long at the event.  Gotta check him out at Paris Club tonight.

The night was already flying away so we booked it over to Macy's. I got a free facial from Origins, Heather got some killer smokey eyes, compliments of Mac Cosmetics.

the finished product!  Danielle, me, and Heather

Cat eyes, no make up, and smokey eyes... Chanel, Origins, and Mac Cosmetics, respecitively

Final FNO stop of the night was the 900 North Michigan. Sipping on cocktails, free massages, manicures, and a Beauty Bazaar that could keep up entertained for days, these were all things that we were not able to enjoy because were so fashionably late.  We know where we will be starting next year.

my dates vamping it up!

Our final stops of the night was the Rooftop at the Wit.  Great music on a rooftop over looking the river made me realize how much I love this city.

...and then we made a couple more friends in the lift.

2012 VMAs: Best and Worst Red Carpet looks

Random thoughts of last nights looks...

1. Miley looks good! Loving the mesh detailing on plunging neckline.

2. 2 Chainz really lived up to his name in his on point look with chains and embellished leather jacket. SO perfect.

3. Nicki Minaj... I was actually expecting something guadier.  I suppose the cat suit wasn't too bad considering she definitely has the body to fill it out.  The yellow wig did not do your skin tone any favors.

4. I don't get why Rihanna's new hair cut is such a big deal.  Don't get me wrong, she looked amazing, BUT she can easily put on a weave and have the same locks she woke up with yesterday.

5. Rita Ora, you had two chances to pull off a decent outfit... but failed.

6.  Though PSY was just signed on by Justin Bieber's manager (btw... Bieber did not take a single moon man home... the beliebers dropped the ball this year!), Americans might not be ready for his fashion.

7. Gabby Douglas looks adorable in her sequin gown and captivated the crowd with her appearance during Alicia Key's "Girl on Fire" performance.

8. Tyga... is that you? or is that the red carpet bunching up to say hi?

What were you thoughts on this years fashion?

Does Dwyane wade purposely coordinate with Lebron and Bosh?

Do you and Lebron and Chris Bosh coordinate your looks out there?

No, never. We're three guys who love to dress, and we love to see what each other wears from game to game, so we're all surprised when the other walks in. Some days it's weird, because we're color coordinated, and you're like, "why are we picking the same color right now?"

Though he claims that he does not purposely coordinate with Lebron James, the Miami Heat, Dwayne Wade, is definitely not a stranger to fashion.  He curates his own collection available on Gilt today.  Eccentric pieces, eclectic details, and definite masculine style looks great on that athletic body. :)
