I was recently talking the song over with Kendall. He said, "I'm getting comfortable developing, you know?" And I do know. Kendall takes his time with each track. He's been working very hard on his sound and to be honest I think he's found it. Actually, I think he found it way back with "The Wild," but let's move forward not backward.
"Sittin'" is the latest track released by Kendall and if you have been following his work at all, what I mentioned above should be fully understood. The song has an interesting structure with Kendall singing the first verse and rhyming over the second. The hook is also a nice ode to Otis Redding.
Kendall has been doing something I wish a lot of other artists would do and that is taking the time to figure out their own sound. Find you. Get comfortable with you and continue to develop throughout the whole process. Quality over quantity.
The latest from Beyond Modern is finally here, but it was worth the wait. Since I met the guys a little over a year ago they have steadily been perfecting their craft. When you hear one of the tracks off this latest EP you can easily recognize that it’s the work of the Beyond Modern duo.
If I had to pick a favorite track off the EP, it would have to be “Lights Out.” This is SWEAT music right here and that is exactly what Marx and Jazz would tell you, if you asked them. This is sure to be one that will get the crowd sweating at their next show, which may be sooner than later. D.C family, keep your ears open and be sure to follow the guys Twitter. Don't forget to download the project below!
Alert the press! Oh, wait...that's me. Beyond Modern is here with a new track! "Tonight" was produced and mixed by Top Secret and features some fresh vocals by Chef DJ. This is just a taste of what is to come in a few weeks. Be on the lookout November 1st for the release of the 'The Beyond Modern EP.' Until then, enjoy!
Pavy slows it down the smooth route on this new leak off Monday's upcoming release of Theory of Defiance. This one is entitled "Only Option" and features C. Rich, with production from DC. Stream and snag the download above.
