One of the standout collabs off Crooked I's upcoming album, Apex Predator, dropping in full tomorrow. This one features fast rhymes from Crook and guest Tech N9ne with a dope production from Luxe Beats.
She catches your eye, huh? And with a title like Apex Predator, I think this model brings Crooked I's title to life. The 11-track album is slated for a July 30th release and the tracklist and production credits can be seen below. I'm most looking forward to the Tech N9ne feature; my imagination is going wild over the break neck flows they're sure to bring.
Be sure to hear some new Crooked today on the new Slaughterhouse/Just Blaze track "Slaughter Session". (Plus, Just is said to be executive producing the group's upcoming album.)
One more preview off Tony Touch's upcoming album, Piecemaker 3: Return of the 50 MC's, which DJ Booth has available for full stream here.
Just Blaze producing this one (and exec. producing the whole Slaughterhouse album). Royce wins out as my favorite verse with clever bball references to Derrick Rose and Jeremy Lin. Not near the top tier of Just Blaze beats though. Tune in!
Crooked I spits an all-new, intense, and easy to follow freestyle on Shade 45's The Wake Up Show, even cleverly showing love to the show in the rhymes. Love how this one begins and he doesn't let up til the end. Give this quick-hit listen a press of the play button above!
DJ RellyRell provides a smooth, and soothing production that elicits less intense raps than you may expect from the talented foursome. All the emcees shine over this engaging hip hop track. Originally appeared on Funk Flex's new mixtape, and now available above as an official release, with no DJ tags and CD quality.
Slaughterhouse is prime to drop some new heat this summer as they're all in the studio together working on the next album.
