Ciara has recently revealed a teaser of her single “Sorry” over twitter. Via her instagram she detailed a love and heartbreak situation:
“Dear YOU, August 4th, we were chillin at the house. I said I was done and told you to get out. I didn’t mean a word I said, cuz I was hopin’ you would come back. I tried and tried and I cried and cried up late at night; and I hurt. I tried to fight, and I cried to God, “please let it just work.” I was going crazy with you, you had me so confused. I walked away, you walked away, and we should have stayed… You know, the last time we spoke, gotta say it felt like good ol’ times. Through all the bull, I was still happy to hear from you. You said all the right things, but the one thing you couldn’t seem to understand was that, all you had to do was say…”I’m sorry” Sorry 8/20”
“Sorry” will debut on August 20th as the official led single from Ciara’s One Women Army album. Ciara is also planning to release two new videos within the next month or two. Hopefully all goes well because Ciara has been pushing this album back for the last 20 years. Will any of you be checking for this?
Appearing on What Happens Live last night, L.A. Reid has announced that a release date for Ciara’s long over due album, One Woman Army has now been set. The music mogul revealed the album should be dropping near Thanksgiving. Ciara has been working nonstop for the past couple of months in the studio with the likes of Da Internz, Hit-Boy, Tricky Stewart, Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, and many more. Reid also confirmed that Ciara will indeed release a new single and will have completed two videos by the end of August.
Hopefully everything will work out for Ciara, because she has a very promising list of producers working behind her. Now it’s just up to her and the label to make sure everything goes accordingly to plan.
