Ci-Ci is the latest subject of MTV's This Is How I Made It - and above, she talks about the goals she had for her first album, her general come-up, and even her declining sales. Ciara fans, this should be a fun watch for ya.
If you weren't watching the Showtime season finales of Dexter and Homeland (guilty for Dexter) or the 49ers/Patriots Sunday night, then you were probably checking out VH1 Divas. If you were in the former group (or, you know, not watching TV at all), then check out a couple of the performances you missed with a tribute to Whitney Houston above featuring Jordin Sparks, Melanie Fiona, and Ledisi - and then a tribute to Donna Summer by Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson, and Adam Lambert below. The last video is Ciara, performing a little MJ and her new single "Got Me Good". For more, including Iggy Azalea, Kelly Clarkson, and Pitbull, visit VH1.com.
Tonight, BET aired the 2012 Black Girls Rock event from NYC and it featured a flurry of performances from some of urban music's most iconic names right now - Alicia Keys (performing "New Day" & "Girl On Fire" above), Brandy ("Wildest Dreams"), Ciara & Missy Elliott ("One Woman Army", "Sorry", "1, 2 Step", "9th Inning"), and Keyshia Cole ("Trust & Believe"). Also performing was India.Arie & Eric Benet, Anthony Hamilton, and Luke James - and you can catch those performances via Yardie here.
Is anyone interested in hearing an up-tempo from Ciara? Well, hopefully you are because that’s what she’s releasing with her new single ‘Got Me Good’. Both the song and video will be released on October 25th. This track will serve as the 2nd single off her upcoming album One Women Army.
Unfortunately for Ciara her 1st single 'Sorry' came and went without much noise coming from it. One would advise Ciara to just go back to the drawing board if she really wants this album to take off. Anyways check out a teaser for ‘Got Me Good’ here.
