Chance isn't slowing down anytime soon and mtv.com is comparing his new mixtape Acid Rap to the style of a young Kanye West and 3 stacks. Chance is a 20 year old rapper from the southside of Chicago and he is challenging the rap game and claiming his spot. He told MTV, he was a little more wild in Acid Rap. His first project was 10 Day which he was inspired to record after getting suspended from school for 10 days. Chance's style is different and he brings youthful and exciting talent to the industry however Chance admits going through a stage where he had to find his own voice. He talks about going through a Kanye West phase, a Lil Wanye phase, a Andre 300 phase and even a Eminem phase. However we can all agree Chance skills are present and his style is now one he can call his own. We can expect more from Chance who in my opinion is just getting started.
Unless you're living under a heavy ass boulder, you're probably as about Chance's Acid Rap as we are. Not only did his listening party at Jugrnaut form a line down the block and around the corner, but his first show at the Metro slated for 5/26 sold out HELLA quick. So he's added a second show for Saturday, 5/25. Tickets are only $13 and go on sale tomorrow at noon. GRAB ONE!
A new Chance track off the heels of last week's buzzing release of Acid Rap (it's still making new waves I feel). It's a collab with Nosaj Thing for the "Songs From Scratch" series. They made this song last month on April 7th, and the behind the scenes look at the song's creation can be seen below. Both are pretty dope; the production and Chance's high pitch go together really well. Cop this one above.
It's called The Space Migration Tour, and Mac Miller is set to go on the road with a lot of buzzing artists such as Chicago's very own Chance The Rapper. Chance will be with Mac on all of the tour's dates over the summer, with Meek Mill, Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, and Mac's REMember Music artists like Njomza to appear on select the dates. Shaping up to be a good group of artists for a complete show. Check out the complete dates below (no Chicago date yet).
The tour will coincide nicely with Mac's upcoming album, Movies With The Sound Off, dropping June 18th.
Finally it's here. Chance The Rapper drops his highly anticipated project Acid Rap. The project has 13 tracks and features Twista, Childish Gambino, Action Bronson, Ab-Soul, BJ The Chicago Kid and more. On the production side you'll here beats comes from Nate Fox, Blended Babies, Jake One, DJ Ozone and more. Enoy!!!

Could "Favorite Song" end up being my favorite song off #AcidRap? The Childish Gambino feature appealed to me to check this one out first and it's a quirky *Tibs Fav. off the bat. Good to hear these one-time tourmates on the same track together, check this one out as a preview before downloading the full tape here.
