Here's B.o.B's new single off Underground Luxury dropping later this month on the 17th. It's more of a serious one compared to his recent club single with Chris Brown. Singer Priscilla does the heavy lifting with a long intro and hook duty as B.o.B splices in two very good verses. I was especially intrigued from the very first listen to his storytelling on his own experiences in the second verse. It just got better and better and concluded with a cherry on top. So yup, this is the B.o.B I like — *Tibs Fav.
Catch up on the week that was in music on this festive Thanksgiving holiday! First, Eminem dropped a really cool visual for his well-liked 6 minutes of bars proclaiming himself the "Rap God". Watch that above and get in tune with some of the week's biggest songs below.
New B.o.B & Childish Gambino singles, a Pusha T feature on the debut single from Chicago singer Chris James, Joey Bada$$ over some unreleased J Dilla, and a standout from Trae Tha Truth's new mixtape, I Am King, featuring Lupe Fiasco. Enjoy!
Here's a new single off Underground Luxury — B.o.B's upcoming album dropping next month on the 17th. I felt they both could have done more with this unique sample/production (it felt Bangladesh-esque). I'm disappointed in the hook, or lackthereof, and while Breezy puts down some solid rhymes, I think we were expecting some gold from him on that hook. Dah well. Here's the clean version for now.
Here's an interesting crossover collab for B.o.B — he raps and sings for the new Potbelleez single "Magic Number". It's got an infectious hook, but the highlight to me is B.o.B's fast verse. Lyrically, I'm not sure what the focus is, but it's very technically sound and closer to the B.o.B I enjoy (compared to some of his previous releases/features). Give this one a shot and see if it sticks with you.
