The Rich Gang compilation album from Young Money Cash Money is still on the way, but now on July 23rd. Birdman released the Rich Gang album cover above, while I spice this post up with the release of a RANDOM GIF SMASH!
New from Birdman and Rick Ross is "The H" mixtape which dropped today. It is said that these are tracks that Birdman and Ricky Rozay had been working on, reasons why it is said to be the lost album of 2008. But, the way that this music rides, it still can flow to the current year of 2013 music. This is a dope mixtape and well worth listening to. As you ride to this mixtape, prepare yourself to vibe to emotion of "Turnt Up" all the way to "Smooth Vibing" and back to getting it carcking....It's THE H!

Let's begin this morning on a wacky note to continue the wackiness that was last night. Meaning that you may have noticed the site was down last night. Our server was temporarily down last night and as a result, we were inactive with the night's new music updates. We should be back up and running and so here's a quick rundown of what we missed!
First off, let's start with the wonderful couple above. I don't mean that romantically, but I do mean it in a business sense as Paris Hilton has signed a deal with Cash Money to release her second album. First off, WUT? Secondly, she has a first album? Third, ugh. I think I'll just move on.
Two big releases for May 21st with the more universal Daft PunkRandom Access Memories and French Montana's debut album Excuse My French. The first-week projections are in: Daft Punk slated for 300-325K and French with 45-50K. Solid numbers for Daft Punk. I think people may have expected more for French, but that sounds about right to me. (via HDD)
Geno Smith, rookie QB for the New York Jets, has signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.
We also have new songs and videos comin' up on those respective pages from TDE, Usher, Melanie Fiona, and more, after leaving off with Joey Bada$$ announcing a new EP coming June 12th. Be sure to keep it locked for all the new music and updates today.. and beyond!
Birdman & Rick Ross made the announcement today that they'll be releasing an album together called The H. The subtitle indicates it's Vol. 1 (of more to come?) of music from 2008. I'm personally not a fan of the Cash Money/Maybach Music moguls, but I know it'll make for an interesting collab for the hip hop world. We won't have to wait long either; the two plan to drop it next week, May 23rd. Here's video of the announcement below:
Yesterday, Mannie Fresh addressed the news that Birdman, Lil Wayne, and Drake are coming together for a new Big Tymers album. A lot of people were interested to hear what he had to say since he was not a part of the project. Welp, as you may have expected...
“It’s kinda like doing a Jackson 5 album with Boyz II Men. Two different eras, great artists, but Boyz II Men is not the Jackson 5. I don’t bash Cash Money, Birdman, or none of them. It’s really on, I’m just striving on just getting what I deserve, you know, what I put in. Honestly I think Drake is a great artist, I think Wayne is a great artist, but they not the Big Tymers.”
I’m too old to be making dis songs. I’m too wise to be making shots at anybody, but my thing is I’m a business man at the end of it. You can call it whatever you want to call it, but you can’t call it a Big Tymers album.”
I agree with Mannie... they're not the original group; they should call themselves something else. We'll see if the album even materializes as well... your thoughts?? (Below, Mannie reflects on his milestones as a Big Tymer).
Future drops the remix for Karate Chop, the track features some heavy hitters such as Birdman, Rick Ross and French Montana. Take a listen and see what you think!
On yesterday's RapFix, Lil Wayne & Birdman confirmed and revealed a few new details about their upcoming projects. Most notably, the confirmation of what came out the day before: a new Big Tymers album with Drake. Birdman says Mannie Fresh will not be involved, however.
Also, Wayne says he still plans to drop the love song album, Devol, and Jae Millz, Lil Chuckee and T-Rone conclude the show with some new bars. Watch above and below!
