If Beyoncé and Mariah Carey sign on for this my life is a wrap. I am for sure looking forward to this tribute and I’m pretty sure I’m going to need multiple boxes of tissues. I think we can all agree there will never be another Whitney Houston. Her ability to wrap a lyric and melody with genuine heartfelt passion with her larger then life voice was truly a gift. If you would like to attend this event tickets will be on sale from Ticket Master.
If your waiting around for anything involving Beyoncé, like myself, you would be glad to know she's coming back. No, she’s not releasing any new material, but she WILL be appearing on Anderson Cooper’s 'Anderson Live'. Cooper has enlisted Beyoncé as his very first guest on the daytime talk show, premiering September 10th.
As you should know, Cooper recently interviewed Beyoncé on his 'AC360' about her 'I Was Here' video that was used to help raise awareness for World Humanitarian Day. I'm glad to see Beyoncé doing something because at this point I'll take anything.

"I want to leave my footprints in the sands of time’ and it basically is all of our dreams, I think. And that’s leaving our mark on the world. I feel like we all want to know that our life meant something."
In honor of World Humanitarian Day, Singer Beyoncé and aid organizations are using social media to reach over 1 billion people to share one simple message. Beyonce recorded her music video "I Was Here," at the U.N.'s General Assembly Hall. Premiering officially today in Times Square, "I Was Here" declares the need to make a lasting change. Whether doing something big or small, being proactive will enlighten our lives and those around us. World Humanitarian Day celebrates the lives lost in making the world a better place. Many aid workers and volunteers are lost every year helping others including 22 U.N. workings in Bagdhad, 19 volunteers in Somalia, and countless others in captivity, just to name a few.
She arrived at the U.N. wearing an all white Alexander McQueen peplum waist pencil dress with bell sleeves. Accentuating her inner beauty, Beyoncé wore minimal make up with a sleek high ponytail. She completed the outfit with no accessories and tri-colour Ruthie Davis ‘Boardwalk’s platform peep-toes. Her flawless style and natural beauty left me in complete awe.
For her music video she changed into a stunning white sequined gown by Marc Bouwery from his Pre-Fall 2012 collection. Bouwery's dress accentuated every curve on Bey's body yet somehow remained understated. The glistening white and the texture brought out Bey's silhouette perfectly with slightly exaggerated shoulders and form fitting cut. Bey looked angelic against the moving IMAX images of humanitarians in action.
