Beyonce contributes to the Epic Soundtrack (in theatres June 24th) with this nice track called "Rise Up". I especially like the hook to this one and at the very least, the casual fan can likely just sit back and appreciate this one.
Beyonce had a surprise for the 'Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live' concert tonight in the form of her husband Jay-Z, for a performance of the classic "Crazy In Love" above.
Plus, she performed her new single "Grown Woman" and covers of Etta James and Sam Cooke in the midst of her set. Below is the single and the intro to the concert. By the way, is there anything Beyonce can't do?
Last week when the tracklist to Kelly Rowland's upcoming album, Talk A Good Game, was revealed, one track that surely caught even the most casual observer's eye was the collaboration with Beyonce & Michelle Williams, "You Changed". We didn't have to wait too long to hear what Destiny's Child sounds like together again in the studio. Remember, at the top of the year we had "Nuclear", but that was never really pushed as a single. "You Changed", on the other hand, may get those legs as it's a relatable jam that does take you back to when the ladies were an official trio. Listen to a rip of the track below, that I liken to ACQ, instead of CDQ — alarm clock quality.
After previewed a few months ago in her Pepsi commercial, here goes the full version of "Grown Woman" — a new, empowering groove from Queen Bey with Timbaland on the production and The-Dream co-penning the expected release for Beyonce's upcoming album.
In case you missed it, Jodeci posted about the pregancy rumors coming to a screeching halt! Jay-Z confirmed that Beyonce is NOT pregnant. Ouch, E! Online. Worst case scenario for breaking news like this.
Last Week, the very impulsive E! Online reported and confirmed that Beyoncé was indeed pregnant with baby number 2. Well guess what… She’s not. Although it didn’t come straight from the houses mouth, it did however come from a very reliable source the E! News didn’t ask… Jay-Z. Yes, hubby Jay-Z spoke with Hot97 Ebro and denied the rumor. Check the video below to hear what Jay-Z’s email said:

Mmmm well can’t say I ever believed this was true for a second. Beyoncé has been confined for 5 festivals and she just extended her tour till September. Does that sound like someone pregnant to you? Didn’t to me either. Meanwhile check out a bonus video of Beyoncé poking fun at the rumors 2 days ago (0:59 mark).
Amazing news for hip hop's royal couple. Beyonce & Jay-Z are expecting a second baby as E! Online cites multiple sources confirming Bey is pregnant. This may connect the dots to the "dehydration and exhaustion" that Beyonce was suffering from leading her to cancel her first ever show recently in Belgium. No doubt, congrats to Beyonce & Jay-Z!
Well since there are no signs of Beyoncé releasing anything new from her upcoming album we must take whatever we can get at this point. Beyoncé has recorded an original song set to appear on the soundtrack for her new animation movie, Epic. The song is titled “Raise Up” and was written by King Bey herself and Sia who wrote Rihanna’s“Diamonds.”Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe produced the song. Beyoncé’s label, Columbia Records will release the song later this month.
I’m not 100% on when Beyoncé plans to drop her 1st single, but my only guess is when she wraps up the UK leg of her Mrs. Carter World Tour June 1st. That leaves the entire month of June open till she kicks off the US leg of her tour June 28th during BET’s “The BET Experience” leading into the 2013 BET Awards airing live July 1st.
In the meantime, The-Dream has recently revealed a very exciting song set to appear on his new album, IV Play. The song is titled “Turnt” and it features Beyoncé and 2 Chainz. Due to clearance issue with a sample used, The-Dream has removed his original song with Beyoncé “Fi (Fire),” which has been described as a very sexual track off the album. Well that sucks! Hopefully Dream releases the song for free so I can enjoy it or the sample gets cleared.
