18. II. earth: The oldest computer (The last night) [feat. Azealia Banks]
19. III. life: The biggest troll (andrew auernheimer)
The three features: Chance The Rapper, Jhene Aiko, and Azealia Banks. The first two should come as no surprise, and perhaps the third one as well for any keen listener of "Centipede" for the "my wallet's Azealia" line (could mean Iggy, but Banks makes more sense). I'm excited for this album and have been impressed with the sound of the previews thus far (see: below). Plus, look at the structure of the album — this looks like an innovative book on tape CD.
Here's a new release from Azealia Banks with the announcement of a new project due out not until July 11, 2014 (?) but it's called, Fantasea II: The Second Wave. This uptempo jam should raise the energy levels of your day, check it out.
Azealia Banks revealed the tracklist to her upcoming album, Broke With Expensive Taste, in a unique way: through good ole fashioned handwriting!
In addition the new Pharrell-assisted single "ATM Jam", Azealia will keep the features at a minimum with Theophilus London, Toko Yasuda, and Kevin Hussein the only other featured guests on the 16 tracks. Expect the album to drop early next year.
Two Paul Oakenfold tracks in one day?! Well, after digging a little deeper after today's new release of "Turn It On", another track off the electronic producer's upcoming album, Pop Killer, features Azealia Banks. "Venus" is somethin' different for her as it's more of a house production that she finds herself on. Interesting collab where the casual fan will likely appreciate the energy.
Azealia Banks releases her new single "ATM Jam", a song produced and featured by Pharrell Williams. This single will be included in Banks' album Broke With Expensive Taste, which will be released in the fall. For those looking forward to this summer's great music, this is definitely a new release to listen to.
More Beyonce news this week - one that's been an active one filled with new info (see below) and photos (just click here) - courtesy of Azealia Banks, who has revealed she has recorded a record for Beyonce's upcoming, TBT (nope, not Throwback Thursday... To Be Titled) album.
"I actually did something for her record in Miami a couple weeks ago. I really didn’t want to say it because I didn’t want to jinx it … Even the fact that I was considered to rap on a Beyoncé track was just… I’m about to cry. It was amazing."
