The new single off the upcoming album, Street King Immortal, from 50 Cent featuring mega-stars Eminem & Adam Levine. With a bangin' production from Symbolyc One.
I dig 50's flow to set the tone on the first verse and likewise, Em keeps it going in verse 2. Was starting to tune out tho by 50's 3rd verse, but that may have more to do with the radio rip quality than anything else. The omitted curse words do kind of kill the verses. Will have a CDQ up when it becomes available.
UPDATE: CDQ, yet CleanDIRTY version available now. The change definitely makes a difference. The verses are much more enjoyable and "My Life" definitely has hit potential. I'm borderline 4 stars/*Tibs Fav. on this one. What do you think?
Look for a live performance of this track on The Voice tonight.
This is a post not really spotlighting some pretty artwork, but moreso the announcement of 50 Cent's next attempt at a big hit single. His ingredients for "My Life" include features from Eminem and Adam Levine and production from S1. One look at this recipe on paper and it has all the makings of that delicious entree. We'll find out when the single is served to iTunes on November 27th.
OK... I'll stop with the food metaphors... and instead, include a food GIF!
In a new interview with RollingStone, Game reveals yet another big-name feature for his upcoming album, Jesus Piece, in the form of Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine. Levine joins said big-name features like Kanye West, John Legend, Pusha T, Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Scarface, DJ Premier, and Meek Mill. Looks like Game is prime to make another splash with this new album, also revealed to be a concept album. Peep some quotables from the interview below.
“When everybody hears the Adam Levine record, I think they gonna go crazy. I want that to hit people in the face. It’s a real dope record. ... I definitely know I’m going to catch a lot of shit for this album and a lot of people are gonna be mad. But I think more people will appreciate it and more people will be understanding to it. Controversy is not something that I shy away from.”
The suprise hit, The Voice has two new judges to stand in for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green while the two take time to tend to their music careers. Adam Levine (MmammamMMMMMmhhhmMMMMM) and Blake Shelton will still be in their chairs. The show topped Monday's ratings and the show themselves has managed to give a boost to each one of their celebrity coaches career. Christina Aguilera will be releasing a new CD and going on tour. The show's creator will allow Christina and Cee Lo to come back to the show anytime they want because they've had such belief in the show even before they started, (consideringt the first few shows had really low ratings).
Even more exciting, Usher and Shakira will be standing in for Cee Lo and Christina Aguilera respectively. There will be no shortage of glam costumes and body baring outfits this spring for sure!
