With the year's end fast-approaching (and the apparent world's end even faster), we've begun to be inundated with year-end recaps, lists, and videos. I don't get caught up in the lists - sure, they're fun to a degree, but not until it becomes serious where the lists evoke emotions. Then I would take a step back. 

But year-end videos like this one?! I appreciate these a lot. This was a well-done clip looking back at some of the year's biggest stories and images - from the triumph of the Olympics to the tragedies of one week ago at Sandy Hook. It's a roller coaster of emotions, as a result, but always a good thing to stop for a moment, reflect, then build from it in the present.
