After a 2 week break from this sh*t, I'm back. Unfortunately for us this past week didn't produce too much heat, just a bunch of okay's and solids (smh). Lets not let that stop us from enjoying our weekend with some new bumps though. Take these few tracks I felt were a bit better and more fitting than the rest. This week I bring you records from the likes of Lil Wayne, Young Scooter, Alex Wiley, Dubb, and more. Lets get it!
Honestly, I think I enjoyed "Jugg Season" a bit more. Future makes that record. But Ma$e who I never expected to come with sh*t again, brought it on "Make It Through The Struggle." No idea what got into homie but he gets two thumbs up for his effort on this record. Now if only he could stay consistent with that sh*t. Guess we'll just see what happens. Personally, I doubt it. Prove me wrong though.
Said to come off Wayne's upcoming album, I Am Not A Human Being II, is this new release featuring 2 Chainz on the hook entitled, "Rich As F**k." I'll admit, I'm not that much into Wayne as I used to be. And I'm sure that's the case for many others around too. So Wayne can thank his 2 Chainz hook for the feature. Oh...and smfh at the end of this song. Super wack!
Dubb and Smoke DZA combine powers on a record that just makes me wanna lean the f**k out and get hella faded. Not such a bad idea either. It's lean season. So lets get it this weekend. Leh go!
Tomorrow is Alex's big listening party event @ Jugrnaut for #ClubWiley. So why not throw one from him in the mix to get y'all prepped and going. Those of you who didn't catch this when I posted it yesterday can hop on now. #ClubWiley coming soon!
To be quite honest, this is just a filler. No one really came with it like that this week with the exception of a select few. So therefore I don't really have sh*t to say about this record. Just take it and go enjoy your weekend (It's a sad day. smh).

No honorable mentions this time around. But here's a video I really enjoyed this past week. It's one for Fabo's "Life Is So Exciting," off his S.O.U.L. Tape 2, featuring Pusha T.
When you look at the names on this track you can't help but get excited about the potential of the song, and I have to say that it lived up to the expectations. All the verses were solid, the production was dope and Kris Stephens sounded great. Make sure to go grab Trouble Man Heavy Is The Head today.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Soul when I first heard him, now every time I hear a new track from him it seems like he's getting colder. TDE has to have the strongest camp right now and Soul is furthering that belief for me right now.
The reason this song made the list this week had nothing to do with song and I want to make sure I put that out there first. The reason I put this song on the list was soley because my name was spelled out in the hook, and I imagined me leaving a club one night and the hook playing as I walked out the door. Call me what you want but everybody wishes they had some sort of theme music or exit music now I do.
I feel like this was probably the most overlooked but cold as hell song from last week. Gemstones take on December 21st and what's to come for the world period I feel like musically came across great. Regardless of what you believe something is happening in the world and shout to Gemstones for speaking on it.
Dido has great taste when it comes to the rappers that she works with, going from the amazing voice that was on Stan with Eminem now featuring Kendrick on her newest single. The song is dope as hell and K-Dot compliment the track perfectly.
That's this week list, as always let me know what you think in the comments or hit me up on Twitter.
Gotta say that this week brought forth a lot of bumpin' records. So strap yourself down and tune in as I rap my week up with this new edition of my #WeekInRaps. Features for the weekend from Young Jeezy, Chief Keef, Wale, Pill, and more. Please enjoy and have a safe and happy weekend y'all. Good luck.
This new Chief Keef has probably gotta be the one jam I've bumped to most this week. Yes I know O boy's lyrics ain't the greatest...but I gotta give it to young dude. Homie knows how to make records that hit. So whether you hate em or love em, you're still bound to hear this one for some time to come in the upcoming weeks. Especially since it features both 50 and Wiz on the track. This version however has no Wiz on it. And I'm not about to go find the version that does for y'all. Simply enjoy what we have to offer or go find that shit yourself.
MMG's Wale and Bad Boy's French Montana are "Back 2 Ballin'" on this new bump which Wale released yesterday, followed by a post from yours truly. Guess this one ended up making the final cut of my #WeekInRaps after all. Must say I found this one to be a straight jam to bump to on our nights out for this upcoming weekend. Enjoy y'all.
It's two weeks in a row for Tity. This week we catch 2 Chainz on a feature for one of Young Jeezy's latest records, "R.I.P.," which comes off snowman's recent collection, It's Tha World. Club swag written all over this one. Figured it was fitting. Also I don't hate it as much as I do many other club anthems.
Two of my favorite MC's out here collaborate for a new jam entitled, "Money Bags." Both Pill and Juicy J deliver hot verses on this one, making it a certified banger and sure in feature on this week's edition of my #WeekInRaps. What'chall think and Who's fuggin' with this one? I'm jammin' over here.
Can't really say I'm all that in tune with Trey's rappin' anymore. I used to think he was decent at one point, then well I guess....I woke up. His feature on this new Red Cafe however wasn't all that bad. I was a bit surprised actually that he came with it the way he did. For sure a strong feature to complement two dope verses from Red Cafe and Fabolous. Who agrees with me...who don't? Chime in!
The Hippie Sabotage production duo is back with another #WeekInRaps appearance. This time it's for their production contribution to Alex Wiley's latest release "Something To Say," which features a killer guest verse from Chicago's own Lil Nikk N9ne. That's two for two from the young up and coming beat makers. If you recall HS was featured on Calez's "B.S.O.A.T.," which made it as the top feature on my first ever edition of #WeekInRaps. Got to say I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more from the duo as well as these young rappers featured here. Look for Alex's #ClubWiley to drop within the oncoming weeks. Enjoy y'all!
This gotta be the illest shit I've heard from Dave Coresh in a while. A young Chicago rapper who's been a bit inconsistent over the past few years, but that's not to take away from homie's talent. The kid can rap. We know that. But I know I and I'm sure several others would love to see a story unfold. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. In the mean time grab this record, "LovE & MonEy," which features Gatz and Chuck L.I. on the track. A Jam coming off THC & Record.Breakers' collaborative compilation entitled, E.L.E.. Look for the project to feature tracks from Tyler The Creator, Kid Cudi, The Boy Illinois, and more!
Hope y'all messin' with my top choices in raps this week. Take these and enjoy yourself a great weekend out. But before you go though...be sure to grab the records below which stand as honorable mentions for this week's #WeekInRaps. Happy Friday homies.
...And the single will relate to quite everyone. Wayne's recruiting one of the hottest emcees in the game for his follow-up single to "No Worries". No word on when this will impact, but I would expect it sooner than later.
