AC René born May 10th, 1991, is a British rapper, songwriter, ghostwriter, poet and record producer,. The name AC comes from his middle name Alfred Cornelius which is a tribute to his two grandfathers, his mother and father Alison and Conrad and also used to represent his sound which he refers to as a "Alternative Choice". The name René means rebirth or new creation .

The art of storytelling is an incredible talent he possess and his music captivates the audience and takes listeners on an amazing journey of beats rhymes and life, with an interesting thought provoking writing style and a unique creative producer by the name Maîtresir Arki the duo have formed a formidable partnership that i feel could bring something really special to the UK Hip Hop scene . As they currently work on their first creative project and debut EP 'The Popular Loner' which will be released next year I await with much anticipation and expect to hear a lot of fresh beats and a smooth melodic sounds that I feel will take the listeners on a journey that they won't forget.

Influenced heavily by the whole of Hip Hop culture and past life experiences of himself and others René and his team of creative talents embody what hip-hop always needs that edge, both musically and lyrically. 'Distant Flickering' and 'Culture' take the listener on a ride where they can almost picture every sentence and feel connected with every word. The live, organic feel from both songs showcase René as a very versatile MC who possess the ability to switch flow and write like a modern days wordsworth, His voice has a strength and conviction belying an ego ready to challenge anything he shall come against, there is a toughness about him to suggest he can fight his corner against anybody. An appealing openness and convey empathy and depth of emotion and also vivid storytelling makes me sit here with great anticipation to see what comes next from the british born MC.
